**About this Role**:
Reporting to the HR Director and being a member of the local HR management team, this role will be responsible for developing and implementing new and revised compensation and benefits programs, policies, and procedures to align with the company's strategic goals and competitive practices that assist with employee retention and attracting top talent. The incumbent will also be responsible for HR compliance with Luxembourg legal and regulatory framework.

**Job Specification**:

- Provide day-to-day compensation and benefits support and advice to global and local HR in the implementation, communication and administration of compensation and benefits programs.
- Identify options to ensure market competitiveness and make cost effective recommendations.
- Support global and local HR and business leadership team in developing impact compensation and benefits solutions to address changing market, legislative and/or collective bargaining environments.
- Analyse compensation and benefits programs to ensure alignment with Apex’ philosophy, market competitiveness, internal equity and applicable legislation.
- Partner with global compensation and benefits team members in the preparation, delivery and administration of Apex global compensation programs.
- Provide compensation and benefits expertise and support on special projects.
- Determine markets rates and build pay bands based on external bench marking.
- Provide data-based advice on policy interpretations, job evaluations and internal equity.
- In close collaboration with Apex group compensation and benefits team, design creative solutions to specific compensation-related programs and incentive plans.
- Oversee the participation in salary surveys and monitor salary survey.
- Partner and consult with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition Team, and Leadership in all things compensation by making recommendations using appropriate data.
- Ensure compliance with country / local compensation laws and regulations
- Provide regulatory rewards advisory regarding compensation structures, equity-based schemes and executives' remuneration.
- Develop techniques for compiling, preparing, and presenting data and reports, to comply with regulatory requirements, including MRT’s, in compliance with the remuneration policy.
- Ensure the preparation and the oversight of remuneration committees and keep remuneration policies up to date for the different Apex entities in Luxembourg

**Job requirements**
- Successful completion of a business administration, economics or similar university degree, a major in Human Resources is considered as an advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years of Compensation & Benefits experience mainly in Luxembourg.
- Extensive knowledge in overall compensation strategies (from a HR, tax and regulatory perspective), as well as in the financial services industry.
- Knowledge in equity-based schemes.
- Good knowledge of regulatory remuneration requirements under different European and Luxembourg directives, and an experience in MRT’s management.
- Compensation and benefits and / or analytical background that shows proven success as a thoughtful business partner with strong attention to detail.
- Competency in understanding, interpreting, and communicating procedures, policies, information, ideas, and instructions through strong written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
