**Account Manager - Wholesale Banking**
To support the activity of the Wholesale Banking department which manages relations with:
- Institutional counterparties such as private equity, real estate fund or international clients
- Large local companies, listed companies, major international groups as well as their subsidiaries or holding companies present in Luxembourg
**Description of the position**
As an Account Manager, your main missions will be to:
- Manage a portfolio of clients in close collaboration with the Relationship Managers
- Identify the commercial opportunities for the department
- Develop a strong relationship with the clients
- Maintain a high-quality level of services
- Be the contact person for the day to day requests of the clients (follow-up of the closings, the transactions, the bank certificates, the depositary and pledge requests,.)
- Keep an accurate information about our clients (KYC) in relation with our administrative and Tax teams
- Work closely with the other departments at the bank like the Middle Office, the Payment and Cash Management Team, the Securities Department, the Payment Department, the Legal Team,.
- Establish a synergy with ING Offices around the world
- Contribute to ING Group’s professional and dynamic image in the market
**Your profile**
- Knowledge & Professional experience
- Bac +3/4/5
- A first experience in the financial sector is an advantage.
Languages
- Fluency in English and French are mandatory, a good knowledge of German and Dutch is an advantage, or any other languages.
Specific skills
- You have a flexible, proactive and practical approach towards life and are able to execute multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines.
- Strong verbal communication and organizational skills.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office and other programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook).
- You have a real interest in the financial world, particularly in financial institutions and multinational firms.
