**JOB DESCRIPTION**
As a Business Manager within the Securities Services Operations team, you will be a key partner to the Finance & Business Management team and senior leaders in Fund Services Operations. You will bring a penchant for strategic storytelling, an ability to drive strategic dialogue across the organisation, inform decision-making, proactively solve problems, and provide analytical insight and business judgment in support of strategic and tactical initiatives.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist with key business management functions including developing overarching strategy, project management, analysis and production of management reporting, and ad-hoc requests related to Fund Services
- Partner with Operations, Product, Client Service, and Solutions leads to define and implement the Organisation’s strategy and objectives, including the production of high quality and insightful materials to support the delivery of key messages to leadership
- Identify areas for continued process improvement and enhance efficiencies by generating innovative ideas and solutions
- Prepare high quality presentation materials and supporting analysis to be shared with senior management, business groups and other relevant stakeholders
- Ownership for a variety of monthly governance and reporting processes whilst also identifying and implementing opportunities to optimise delivery and improve integrity
- Perform day-to-day Business Management activities including Townhalls, offsites, and other reports that align to leadership’s key agenda items, discussion topics, strategy and objectives
**Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills**:
- 6+ years of relevant experience within the Investment Banking industry, Strategy, or Consulting
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or other related area
- Ability to construct presentations and supporting analysis to drive strategic dialogue across the organisation to a high standard
- Excellent English writing skills
- Strong governance and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, including senior management
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to present new ideas, reports and proposals in a compelling manner from financial, volumetric, and other data sets
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with multiple assignments, stringent deadlines and changing priorities
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
