Marketing & Client Development Specialist (Funds and Financial Investors) (M/F)

Contract: permanent contract (CDI)

Hours: 40 hours per week

What will you do?

This position will proactively contribute to the development of the business strategy of Clifford Chance in Luxembourg while supporting revenue growth initiatives by advising on business development and marketing planning and implementation in order to deliver successful programmes in relation to the Luxembourg strategic priorities.

The key responsibilities of the position are:
Revenue generation
- Support the Luxembourg office in defining and implementing its client and market development strategy with a focus on Funds and Financial Investors;
- Shape, promote and lead Luxembourg-led initiatives and campaigns for these client segments;
- Proactively spot market trends and opportunities across all Funds, Investment Management and Financial Investors sectors including Real Estate, Private Equity, Private Debt and Infrastructure;
- Oversee the effective pursuit of opportunities, including everything from coaching lawyers to capturing practice credentials;
- Management of pitches and credential statements.
- Reputation management and marketing communications
- Support in building profile and pipeline opportunities for practice and wider firm;
- Leading league table and legal directory submissions (external overviews of our rankings compared to other law firms) to raise our external profile.

Client focus
- Support the client listening programme by conducting client feedback interviews for significant Financial investors matters led by Luxembourg.

Your career experience so far?

Experience and Qualification
- An academic degree (bachelor or master);
- Minimum of five years of demonstrated business development or practice management experience in a professional/financial services or law firm;
- Good knowledge of investment funds market including alternative strategies;
- In depth experience of strategic business planning, key account planning and managing complex RFPs is key;
- A track record of delivering successfully client outreach plans and actions within a professionals services firm;
- Understanding of a global law firm business areas (both transactional and advisory);
- Experience across the full lifecycle of a pitch, panel pitch or capability statement request.

Languages
- Fluency in English is required, French and/or German considered as an asset.

Soft Skills
- Well-developed influencing and presentation skills as well as being confident, resilient and focused;
- The ability to work autonomously with little guidance;
- The ability to demonstrate a track record of being proactive and delivering high quality work both personally and through a team;
- Hands-on, with proven project management skills;
- A global perspective, with sensitivity to multiple and diverse cultures (international working experience would be an advantage).
