**The Community you will join**:
**A typical day**:

- The drafting and submission of reports to the FIU and other competent authorities and response to requests
- Reviewing and monitoring process for transaction monitoring and preparation of filings; identify enhancements
- Review escalated, higher risk or complex requests from analysts to provide guidance and direction
- Identification of regulatory changes that affect APL, and preparation of impact assessment; liaison with legal
- Management of sanction alerts and true hits that affect APL, including reporting to the authorities
- Reviewing internal procedures to identify and drive potential enhancements
- Conduct gap analysis on regulatory requirements
- Manage APL policy portfolio and regulatory filings diary
- Prepare initial drafts of business requirements documents where change required
- Working with colleagues and stakeholders in our partner sites
- Prepare and participate in audits and presentations to external and internal stakeholders
- Document policy and procedural exceptions; escalate issues as needed

Sanctions Screening:

- Conduct analysis of alerts for potential sanctions breaches
- Leverage open and closed source systems to accurately disposition potential list matches

Suspicious Activity Monitoring:

- Leverage thorough understanding of the payments and hosting platform in order to identify typologies that surface unusual activities or transactions
- Review and recommend the results of investigations to the CCO
- Work closely with analysts in other jurisdictions to ensure a globally consistent approach and standard

**Your expertise**:

- Experience working with global payments platforms
- Familiarity with the regulating bodies of the Luxembourg financial sector (CSSF, FIU)
- Sound understanding of AML and CTF framework in the EU and UK
- 2-3 years of experience in similar position / minimum 5 years working experience in financial services
- Fluency in English & one other European language
