We’re on the lookout for an ambitious and innovative Category Manager to be part of our dynamic Radio team at Vodafone Procurement Company (VPC). This role will offer you the chance to work closely with diverse markets, vendors, and Customers across the globe, driving key procurement initiatives and delivering impactful network strategies.
In this role, you'll play a critical part in supporting Vodafone’s worldwide Customers, leading procurement projects from start to finish. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders and build relationships that foster success in every aspect of our procurement process. With a mix of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, you will directly contribute to the success of Vodafone's network strategy and enhance the procurement experience for our Customers.
What you’ll do:
- Manage end-to-end procurement initiatives for VPC Customers, ensuring seamless project execution.
- Drive negotiations and implement sourcing strategies that deliver sustainable value.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders and customers, improving the entire value chain.
- Partner with vendors to achieve excellent outcomes for our Customers.
- Provide insights and contribute to the development of network strategies, roadmaps, and budgeting processes.
- Act as a trusted expert and advisor to our Customers.
- Play an instrumental role in the digital transformation journey for Vodafone Procurement Services and its Customers.
- Present results and achievements to VPC management regularly.
**Who you are**:
- ** Procurement experience**:Deep understanding of sourcing and procurement disciplines with strong commercial and negotiation skills.
- ** Telecom experience**:Experience in the telecommunications industry or a previous role at a major carrier.
- ** Collaborative leadership**:Ability to manage large number of stakeholders, to communicate properly with the customers and to prioritize conflicting demands.
- ** Effective communication**:Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing decision-makers at all levels.
- ** Languages**:Proficiency in English, additional languages are a plus.
- ** Educational Background or Experience**:Business degree or similar qualification.
