In an ambitious growth strategy we are now looking for a **Planning, Ordering & Distribution**(POD) **Specialist**to join the Polestar Luxembourg team.
**Let us describe the challenge we offer**
In this role, you will be instrumental in driving the success of local targets in Luxembourg. Reporting directly to the BELUX POD Manager in Belgium, you'll ensure that the targets are consistently met, identifying any obstacles early on and taking proactive steps to find solutions. A key part of your responsibility is managing the relationship with the Handover Centre, ensuring that they deliver cars on schedule while maintaining the high-quality service expected for our clients.
In this role, you will also be involved in order processing, from inputting orders into Polestar's systems to managing the matchmaking process between stock cars and client orders. Your communication with the logistics team in Zeebrugge will be crucial in ensuring smooth and timely deliveries of vehicles.
A vital aspect of this position is your ability to be adaptable and responsive to any issues that may arise, ensuring all deliveries and orders are handled efficiently and, in a customer-centric manner. You will act as a bridge between various departments, streamlining processes and minimizing delays, and continuously striving for the highest level of customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will be trained as a backup for the Belgian Operations team, further expanding your skill set and responsibilities.
While initially focused on managing the Handover Centre in Luxembourg, this role may expand to include oversight of additional Belgian handover centers.
**What you'll do**
The core responsibilities include:
- Ensure that all cars within Luxembourg market are delivered on time and in a Polestar way
- Ensure close collaboration with your logistics partners
- Process orders and allocate stock accordingly
- Manage the car reservation flow in collaboration with the sales team of Luxembourg
- Reporting on stock situation and ensuring local stock rotation
- Planning and overseeing sales requirements for the Luxembourg market and ensure a strong forecast accuracy.
- Troubleshooting any problems within the OTD (Order To Delivery) journey and escalating where necessary.
- Closely follow and monitor the handover targets with the handover centers, ensuring the targets are met in respect of the Polestar handover standards and processes Accompany and support the business development manager in implementing the needed process and system improvements

- You have ideally a strong understanding and interest of the automotive and fleet business, with the ability to navigate and communicate effectively within the sector.

- You thrive on solving problems and managing operational tasks independently, finding creative solutions to challenges.
- As part of a small, close-knit team in Luxembourg (3 people), you’ll have the autonomy to organize your role and take ownership of your responsibilities.
- You have excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English.
