ALSA s.a., Luxembourg Aviation Safety Agency, is a company acting under the supervision of Luxembourg National Aviation Authority and fully owned by the State of Luxembourg.

Due to the continuous development of our activities, we are looking for:

Flight Operations Inspector (Helicopter) (M/F/X)
POSITION INFORMATION:
Type of contract: Part-time free-lance job (approximately 200h per year)
Date of entry on duty: Immediate
Location: Luxembourg

ORGANIZATIONAL SETTING:

Reporting to the Head of operations, you participate to the certification and safety oversight of civil aviation operators in Luxembourg. Your scope of work will include:

Operations document review and approvals (Operations Manuals, MEL, training manuals…),
Oversight programme implementation including inspections (in particular in-flight and flight crew training) and audits in compliance with EASA air operations regulation,
Technical analysis of special approval requests such as HHO, HEMS, LVO, PBN, HOFO and NVIS.
Assistance and support to air operators,
Technical support to the Head of Department,
Follow-up of ICAO/EU regulations in relation with air operations,
Development of internal procedures and checklists,
Participate in international working group or workshop as necessary,
Promotion of civil aviation in Luxembourg.
REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

Hold an EASA-FCL commercial/air transport pilot license (H) with the at least the following rating: MD900 and H145 (BK117)
Having at least 5000 flight hours
Hold a TRI/TRE qualification

Experience, technical skills and competences:

Experience in HEMS, NVIS and HHO operations,
Good knowledge of aviation regulations in operations and licensing, especially ICAO Annex 6, ICAO Doc 8335, Air Operations implementing rules (Reg. 965/2012) and Air Crew implementing rules (Reg. 1178/2011),
Good knowledge of Management System concept,
Good command of both written and spoken English. Good knowledge of French and/or German language is an asset,
MS Office and computer literate.

It is considered as an advantage/asset if the candidate has:

Experience in an EASA Member Civil Aviation Authority;
Experience as an auditor;
