Lombard International Assurance S.A., headquartered in Luxembourg, is an insurance carrier specialising in manufacturing unit-linked life insurance solutions. These solutions are distributed by various regulated intermediaries, including private banks, family offices, asset managers, independent wealth and financial advisers, wealth and insurance brokers, professional advisory firms, and other advisers active in the private wealth sector.

Distribution Companies

The Group has several wholly owned investment and insurance distribution businesses that market and advise on unit-linked life assurance products manufactured by Lombard International Assurance S.A.

Your Role - Dealing Officer

The Dealing Officer plays a critical role in processing day-to-day trading management of dealing activities arising from distribution channels (partners and IFA's) and executed by custodian banks.

  • Verifying dealing instructions received against investment strategy and compliance rules;
  • Following internal procedures, industry rules, and regulations;
  • Transmitting dealing instructions to relevant custodian banks in a timely and quality manner;
  • Ensuring accurate execution and settlement of dealing instructions by custodian banks;
  • Instructing cash management deals according to specific agreements;
  • Responding to day-to-day queries from partners and others related to dealing instructions;
  • Ensuring proper documentation;
  • Handling daily activities of outsourced internal collective funds;
About You

We're seeking a skilled Dealing Officer to join our team. Key qualifications include:

  • Graduation from University or Business School, preferably in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Banking, or similar field;
  • A first relevant experience in a similar position would be beneficial;
  • Demonstrated insight into the finance industry;
  • Demonstrated agility to use various systems;
  • Ability to work with figures and strong analytical skills;
  • Well-organised and serious with a methodical approach;
  • Ability to work autonomously and show strong team spirit;
  • Ability to take initiatives and deliver within tight deadlines;
  • Confident and professional approach to interact with clients and colleagues;
  • Demonstrated use of information systems;
  • Numerate, well-organised, and serious with a methodical approach and strong analytical skills;
  • Ability to work autonomously;
  • Excellent communication skills to interact directly with external parties professionally;
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel;
  • Good level of English and French, both verbally and in writing;
  • Advanced skills in Excel and VBA are an additional asset.
