Legal Expertise in Investment Funds and Pension Schemes
">The role involves performing legal analyses and preparing opinions on working documents from national and international bodies. You will reply to general and specific legal requests received from external stakeholders or internal requests related to regulations applicable to funds, their investment fund managers and/or pension funds.
Main Responsibilities:- Drafting of legal opinions on the regulations applicable to UCIs, investment fund managers and/or pension funds.
- Analysis and contribution to the development of regulatory texts relating to UCIs, investment fund managers and/or pension funds.
- Analysis and monitoring of national and international regulatory developments in the aforementioned areas.
You should have a four or five-year Master's degree in Law, Economics, Finance or Business Administration and Management. Complementary training in Luxembourg law is an advantage. Minimum professional experience of 5 years in the field of investment funds and/or investment fund managers and/or pension funds or similar experience in the financial sector.
Key requirements include in-depth knowledge of the regulatory framework applicable to investment funds and investment fund managers. Proficiency in written and spoken French and English is necessary. Knowledge of German or Luxembourgish is considered an asset. Excellent writing, analysis, communication and synthesis skills are also required.
A strong sense of responsibility, organisation and discretion is essential. Stress tolerance, flexibility and priority management are also important. Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team with interest and willingness to exchange and share knowledge.
The successful candidate will be hired as public employee under a permanent contract. If the candidate meets the required conditions, s/he will be asked to apply for admission to the status of civil servant.
Prior to the conclusion of the contract, the candidate must submit an extract from the criminal record (bulletin n 3), dated less than 2 months, in order to prove their conduct and integrity.
