Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and validating net asset values, ensuring accurate and timely dissemination to clients and stakeholders. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the highest standards of financial reporting and compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Review and validate net asset values to ensure accuracy and compliance with Northern Trust standards
- Ensure efficient and timely reconciliation of cash and security transactions
- Validate portfolio pricing, including equities, options, futures, fixed income, OTCs, and forwards
- Respond to client queries in a timely and professional manner
- Monitor and resolve recurring reporting issues
- Perform duties in accordance with current procedures and contribute to process enhancements
- Proven understanding of multi-region fund structures in a financial services NAV environment
- Ability to work under pressure to meet multiple daily deadlines
- Knowledge of regulatory regulations pertaining to mutual funds, open-ended investment companies, and close-ended funds
- Financial instrument knowledge, including traditional asset types, derivatives, and private capital market assets
- Excellent interpersonal skills for consulting with the Fund Accounting team and other internal departments
- Hold an accounting, business, or mathematical qualification
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) of one or multiple activities
- Fluent in English
- Experience with SunGard Invest One and Microsoft Excel and Word
