We are seeking a highly skilled EU Taxonomy Project Manager to join our Group Finance Tax & Treasury department in Luxembourg.
As a project manager in sustainable finance, you will lead multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and ensure that investments plan for each consolidated entity comply with the EU Taxonomy Regulation and Group ́s project management guideline.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating EU Taxonomy matters and liaising with the EU Taxonomy SPOCs of each consolidated entity to draw up timely sustainable finance reporting
- Requesting data, conducting plausibility checks, and providing questions & answers support
- Identifying and confirming 'EU Taxonomy eligible' activities for each consolidated entity
- Monitoring legal developments related to EU Taxonomy regulations and adapting reporting tools as necessary
- Organizing regular Steering Committee (Steerco) meetings to ensure alignment and progress on EU Taxonomy initiatives
In addition, you will be responsible for EU Taxonomy reporting, including:
- Liaising with internal ERP managers from each consolidated entity to implement, adapt, and improve reporting
- Supervising the input of each entity in the reporting tool
- Building financial KPI extraction capabilities, with support of the Creos-IT department and in compliance with EU Taxonomy requirements for each entity
- Ensuring that the EU Taxonomy reporting is in line with the expectations of relevant stakeholders, i.e., core banks and other investors
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A Master's degree in Economics, Finance, or Business Engineering
- At least 2 years of experience in project management, finance, or consulting
- Experience in EU taxonomy reporting and familiarity with the ESRS (European Sustainability Reporting Standards)
- Strong computing skills, with knowledge of SAP being an advantage
- Fluency in English and French or English and German, with Luxembourgish being a plus
- A high level of initiative and strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
We offer a competitive salary of around €60,000 per year, additional benefits, and a stable employment contract. You will also have opportunities for continuous learning and development within the company.
