A dream job awaits you at Amazon Europe, where innovation and technology meet. We're looking for a skilled Sr. Front End Engineer to join our AFT Flow Engineering team.

We build the physical engine that powers Amazon's global network of fulfillment centers, employing tens of thousands of people and ensuring customers get what they want when we promised. Our team is creating a new Flow Management solution to automate flow control from dock to dock (Inbound through Outbound), requiring a multi-function, multi-tenant UX.

You'll design and build large-scale systems and critical features, working closely with business/operations leaders, UX designers, product managers, and senior engineers. Your expertise will shape our Flow Management solutions, including developing interactive web applications, managing multiple UIs, and setting up a vision for the complete suite of UIs owned by multiple teams.

Becoming a key influencer in our UI product strategy and roadmap, your insights will impact the future of our company. With exposure to senior leadership, you'll communicate results and provide technical guidance, influencing many teams and contributing to your path to the next level.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in frontend development for web applications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
  • Experience with advanced JavaScript techniques such as asynchronous request handling
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices
  • Experience collaborating with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with advanced ReactJS concepts, browser APIs like custom elements, and graphic clients like ApolloClient and URQL
  • A good understanding of state management libraries like Zustand or Signal
  • Experience in creating performant frontend websites with automated regression testing in continuous integration pipelines
  • Familiarity with backend development (using Node.js, GraphQL, SQL) and large-scale distributed systems
  • Knowledge of security technology and concepts (Authentication, Authorization, Single sign-on, Cryptography, etc.)
  • Knowledge and practical experience in the transportation and logistics domain would be an add-on

The estimated salary for this role is between €90,000 - €140,000 per year.
