Job Title: Senior Manager, Regulatory Affairs and Public Policy, EU

About the Role:

The Senior Manager, Regulatory Affairs and Public Policy, EU will play a pivotal role in shaping Amazon's regulatory strategy and engagement in the European Union. This individual will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing regulatory affairs and public policy initiatives to ensure Amazon's compliance with EU regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Implement Regulatory Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement a comprehensive regulatory strategy that aligns with Amazon's business objectives and EU regulatory requirements.
  2. Regulatory Engagement and Compliance: Engage with EU regulatory bodies, industry associations, and other stakeholders to ensure Amazon's compliance with EU regulations and standards.
  3. Public Policy and Advocacy: Develop and implement public policy and advocacy initiatives to promote Amazon's interests and influence EU regulatory decisions.
  4. Team Leadership and Collaboration: Lead and manage a team of regulatory affairs professionals and collaborate with other Amazon teams to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., law, politics, international relations).
  • Proven experience in regulatory affairs, public policy, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of EU regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
