Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Manager to lead our administrative and accounting team. This is a key role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent financial management expertise, and the ability to drive results.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. They will also be expected to provide guidance and support to the administrative team, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurate and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pursue the objectives of the administration and accounting manager and supervise the administrative activities within the office, in accordance with instructions received from the CFO.
  • Coordinate all administrative and accounting activities necessary for the preparation of periodic financial reports and annual and consolidated financial statements.
  • Evaluate incoming invoices to ensure legitimacy from a contractual and fiscal point of view, as well as compliance with contractual and payment terms and conditions.
  • Ensure the correct administrative management of all subsidiaries, associates, and consortiums managed, coordinating this activity with their Administration & Finance Manager.
  • Oversee tax-related activities, including VAT, income taxes, and withholding taxes, and prepare and submit annual tax returns.
  • Provide accurate and timely financial data for the preparation of reports for the period.
  • Aggregate and summarize accounting data for the preparation of annual and consolidated financial statements, assessing their reliability and completeness.
  • Participate in the preparation of financial statements and define estimated closing data, ensuring that recorded data is timely and accurate.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant or Degree in Business and Economics.
  • Excellent knowledge of tax and customs regulations and civil law.
  • Good knowledge of financial reporting and management regulations.
  • Familiarity with general accounting and industry software.
  • Excellent knowledge of English and preferably knowledge of other languages (French, Spanish).
  • Skills in the preparation of financial statements.
  • Ability to prepare regular reports on the economic and financial progress of the company.
  • Good knowledge of general and industry-specific accounting.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office suite.
