This role involves optimizing and maintaining CLdN's information systems, which support our organizational functions. The ideal candidate will oversee network integration and development to ensure high levels of system performance, security, and availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as needed (Incident management);
- Perform investigation to identify root cause of major incident (Problem management);
- Configure networks to ensure their smooth and reliable operation for fulfilling objectives and processes;
- Record, pilot or operate changes;
- Provide first and second-level best attention, mentoring, and documentation about our network organization and security infrastructure;
- Deploy or manage network components;
- Communicate with end-users, remote support teams, and external suppliers of IT support;
- Test new versions and features of hardware/software network components;
- Based on the CISO's directives, ensure the security of data from internal and external attacks;
- Participate in managing all network security solutions;
- Liaise with telecom providers for the setup and management of the WAN;
- Manage or collaborate on crisis situations;
- Draw up and maintain all documentation and operation manuals.
Project Responsibilities:
- Manage projects, plans resources, and forecasts delivery;
- Install, configure, test, and maintain firmware and system management tools;
- Programs and assists third-party actions;
- Verifies that action plans are conform with requirements and safe to operations;
- Reports progress and milestones.
Your Profile:
The ideal candidate has good theoretical and excellent practical knowledge in one or more of the following technologies:
- Core Switches;
- Routers;
- Different brands of firewalls;
- Office & Industrial Wireless LAN;
- Filtering infrastructure;
- Citrix infrastructure;
- A proven experience and success with LAN, WAN, WLAN, and WWAN design and implementation;
- A proven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices;
- A good background on layer 2 and layer 1, e.g., ethernet, fiber, vlan, lldp, lag, spanning tree;
- A minimum of 5-10 years work experience in a similar function;
- A University degree in IT;
- Fluency in English, any additional language is an advantage;
- Reliability, well-organized, and stress-resistant;
- Able to work efficiently and perform to a high level of quality and responsibility at all times.
