Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Facilitator to join our dynamic team at the Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine (LCSB). As a key member of our financial controlling and grants team, you will work closely with researchers, management teams, and controlling teams to effectively support external projects.

  • Serve as the primary contact point for researchers on funding possibilities and related procedures.
  • Assist academic staff in preparing applications for funding, including proposal writing, budget planning, and grant management.
  • Support project owners in complying with terms and conditions of various funding bodies, collaborating with the LCSB controlling team on monitoring budgets and financial reporting.
  • Contribute to the preparation of reports, dissemination of research activities, and maintaining internal records.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, partner institutions, and central administration to ensure seamless communication and cooperation.

Your Profile:

To succeed in this role, you will have a proactive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to plan and prioritize tasks effectively. A university degree (Master level) and experience in a research environment are essential. A strong educational background in life sciences or a related discipline is a significant advantage.

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in research and project management, including proposal writing, budget planning, and related reporting.
  • An excellent command of English and working knowledge of French and/or German.
  • Proficiency in modern office software, spreadsheets, and collaborative platforms.
