**Tasks**:
For the computational modelling post, the following tasks are to be carried out:
- Molecular modelling to identify and characterise mechanisms and pathways for inflammatory processes relevant to amyloid disease
- Computational analysis of assembly kinetics and expected amyloid toxicity for mixtures of unmodified peptides and peptides modified consistently with inflammatory damage
- Verification of computational predictions against experimental observations
- Participation in the scientific activities (seminars, colloquia, schools) that are organized within the frameworks of the Department of Physics and Materials Science [ uni.lu/recherche/fstm/dphyms ], the Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biology [ uni.lu/lcsb ], the Institute for Advanced Studies [ uni.lu/ias ], and the centre for complex living systems [ cls.uni.lu ], and presentation at international conferences and meetings
**What we expect from you**
- Able to write clearly and fluently in English
- A PhD in physics, chemistry, biochemistry or informatics with interdisciplinary publications crossing multiple fields
