In addition, the University focuses on cross-disciplinary research in the areas of Data Modelling and Simulation as well as Health and System Biomedicine. The **Faculty of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences** (FHSE) brings together expertise from the humanities, linguistics, cognitive sciences, social and educational sciences. People from across 20 disciplines are working within the Faculty. Along with the **disciplinary** approach a very ambitious interdisciplinary research culture has been developed.
The faculty’s research and teaching focuses on **social, economic, political **and** educational** issues with the common goal of contributing to an inclusive, open and resourceful society. The FHSE offers six Bachelor and twenty Master degrees and a doctoral school providing students with the necessary knowledge and high-qualified skills to succeed in their future career.

- Collaboration and support of research and administrative tasks in the field of inclusive education
- Self-organised and collaborative research
- Application for and coordination of (international) third-party funding
- Publications in peer-reviewed journals
- Innovative teaching
- Independent supervision of students and doctoral researchers
- Transfer of relevant research results to various communities and a wider public
- Academic self-administration (Institute, Department and Faculty)
**What we expect from you**:
- PhD in Inclusive education, with a focus on at least one of the below areas
- Inclusive pedagogy (critical perspectives on UDL)
- Participatory research
- Research ethics
- Comparative, international approaches
- De*colonial approaches
- Digitally informed and/or arts-based approaches
- Community work
- Fluency in English is required; good command of French, Luxembourgish and / or German is considered an asset
- Training and experience in qualitative empirical methods/mixed methods research
- Openness to further research in participatory, arts-based and or digitally-informed contexts in the area of inclusive education
- International publications in peer-reviewed journals and / or book publications as well as alternative approaches to research communication/ data management
- Innovative teaching experience
