**Position Overview**: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product/Service Owner to lead the development and management of a crucial development platform that will be utilized by hundreds of developers within a public administration context. As part of our dynamic IT services team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery and continuous improvement of the platform, aligning it with the strategic objectives of the public administration.
**Responsibilities**:
**1. Platform Vision and Strategy**:
Develop a clear and compelling vision for the development platform, aligned with the goals and objectives of the public administration.
Formulate and execute a strategic roadmap that outlines the evolution of the platform over time.
**2. Stakeholder Engagement**:
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including developers, project managers, and business analysts, to understand their needs and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Establish strong relationships with external stakeholders within the public administration to ensure the platform meets their requirements.
**3. Product Development and Management**:
Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to implementation and maintenance.
Work closely with development teams to prioritize features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on business value and impact.
**4. User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) Design**:
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure the platform provides an intuitive and user-friendly experience for developers.
Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to refine and enhance the platform's interface.
**5. Release Planning and Deployment**:
Develop and maintain a release schedule, coordinating with development and operations teams to ensure smooth and timely releases.
Implement effective communication strategies to inform users about upcoming releases and changes.
**6. Performance Monitoring and Optimization**:
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the platform and regularly monitor and report on its performance.
Implement optimization strategies to enhance platform efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
**7. Security and Compliance**:
Collaborate with security experts to ensure the platform adheres to industry best practices and complies with relevant regulations.
Implement and maintain security measures to safeguard sensitive data and ensure a secure development environment.
**8. Documentation and Training**:
Develop comprehensive documentation for developers, including user guides, API documentation, and best practices.
Organize and conduct training sessions to empower developers to effectively use the platform.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or Service Owner in a similar context.
- Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with public administration processes and requirements is a plus.
**Requirements**:
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; proficiency in any other European language is a plus.
- Strong experience in containerization, with a proven track record of effectively leveraging containerization technologies to enhance software development and deployment processes (mandatory).
