- Anderson Wise is pleased to present this excellent opening to join a renowned Spanish corporation in their Luxembourg Office.

You will be responsible for the accounting and You will oversee the general accounting for the different entities under LuxGAAP and IFRS. You will be involved in monthly closings and reporting, directly reporting to the Accounting and Reporting coordinator who is based in Luxembourg. In addition, you will be in contact with the HQ located in Spain.
- The position offers the opportunity for a highly motivated and organized individual to be a significant contributing member of the accounting team.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Responsibility and accountability for accounting of assigned entities according to LuxGAAP / IFRS
- Monthly closing and reporting
- Working in collaboration with the Treasury team to review the reports and improve its exports onto SAP
- Working closely with colleagues in HQ to understand and meet internal obligations
- Working on projects of SAP ERP harmonization
- Preparation of statutory reporting (including BCL reports monthly and quarterly)
- Performance of reconciliations (bank statement, treasury schedules, etc)
- Establishment of improvements in quality of reporting and procedures and controls
- Assisting in annual statutory account preparation according to LuxGAAP / IFRS
- Responsibility over communication and compliance with statutory / contractual audits for some of these financial statements
- Participating in ad hoc projects as needed and requested

**Your profile**:

- University degree or equivalent, with ideally a specialization in accounting
- Around 3 to 4 years of work experience in a similar position in accounting and/or auditing
- Experience with accounting general ledger systems such as SAP
- Profound experience with monthly closings and/or external audits
- Fluent in English (both verbally and written). Knowledge of Spanish is an advantage
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to demonstrate a hands-on approach and proactive attitude
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
