As a QA Engineer at Salonkee, you will be at the forefront for shaping the quality of our products. You'll play a crucial role in our development process, ensuring every release meets our high standards for defect free software. This role demands a blend of technical expertise, keen eye for finding defects, and a passion for perfection.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate closely with product management and development teams to grasp project objectives and testing goals.
- Engage in troubleshooting and triaging issues across teams, contributing to root cause analysis and resolution.
- Design, create, and implement test conditions, test data, and test scripts to address both business and technical use cases for the AUT (Application under test).
- Design, execute and maintain automation scripts using Cypress and other tools, focusing on efficiency and effectiveness.
- Utilise JIRA and Xray for documenting, tracking, and escalating issues as necessary.
- Perform API testing using Postman, demonstrating a robust technical understanding of the process.
- Work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Collaborate in an agile development process, contributing to the team's continuous improvement.

**Requirements**:

- At least 3 years of experience with cypress automation tool.
- Profound technical knowledge and hands-on experience in QA testing, especially in automation.
- Strong expertise in JavaScript, MySQL, and Cypress.
- Familiarity with API testing and tools like Postman.
- A good understanding of mobile apps and their ecosystem.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working as part of a team.
- Experience in an agile development environment.
- ISTQB Foundation certification is a plus.
