**Your Role...**
The Research and Development specialist will be working under the supervision of Professor Stanislaw Tosza. In particular, the R&D Specialist will be in charge of:

- Conducting research and contributing to other activities falling into the scope of the three research projects
- In particular: identifying compliance rules and cooperating with ICT scholars in preparing IT tools performing compliance tasks; conducting research on the legal implications of the use of technology (in particular AI) in compliance
- Contributing to preparing further research proposals under the leadership of Prof. Stanislaw Tosza
- Disseminating results through scientific publications, workshops and conferences (organize workshops, seminars and conferences; edit the publication of the research results)

**Qualifications...**

In particular, the following requirements apply:

- Strong interest in criminal law or procedure, data protection, digital technology, and interdisciplinary research; academic or practical experience in topics linked to the reseach will be considered an advantage
- Fluency in English; good understanding of a second language, preferably French or German, would be considered an advantage
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Good IT skills
- Curiosity and self-motivation
- Ability to work individually as well as part of a team
