**Your tasks**:

- Be the key contact person for all BIL Group insurance related matters (insurance policies, insurance claims, due diligence requests, insurance certificates) throughout BIL Group as well as to outside contacts
- Actively contribute to the improvement of the BIL Group's Risk Transfer Strategy and to the quality of the insurance program by identifying and evaluating insurable risks
- Propose relevant insurance strategies, covers and solutions offered by the Insurance Market to the Management
- Renew, negotiate and challenge annually the main banking policies, optimizing the costs, but also the coverage scope of the insurance program
- Ensure proper implementation of international programs throughout the BIL Group (set-up of local policies where needed) and get an overview of locally subscribed insurance policies by BIL Group entities
- Review and challenge the insurance policies (agreements and documentation) provided by the insurers
- Coordinate a proactive claims' management maximizing the potential compensations and carry out the necessary claims' handling activities (loss notification, loss adjustment follow-up and loss settlement)
- Prepare the annual Group Insurance Budget and pay the insurance premiums
- Develop and manage relationships with brokers and insurers and respond to queries and concerns ensuring prompt resolution
- Set-up / update the procedures / processes linked to the insurance activity as well as the necessary information flow (gathering of mandatory information for the insurers)
- Implement insurance reporting in an appropriate way for different audiences
- Be a key contributor for insurance related matters to BIL Group projects
- Proactively offer assistance to the other teams within the Legal Department

**Your experience**:

- University degree in law or economics from an EU member state, a post graduate degree being considered as an advantage
- Ideally 3-5 years of related experience, ideally in an Insurance Manager position or within the international brokerage or (re)insurance industry
- Strong knowledge of Luxembourg's legal and regulatory environment

**Your skills**:

- Excellent organization and planning skills, combining attention to detail and an efficient overview of key questions and priorities
- Problem-solving oriented and ability to stick to deadlines
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated and autonomous
- Team player
- Master Microsoft Office
- Fluency in English and French is mandatory
