Job Description Summary: Head of Finance for PayPal Europe HQ, based in Luxembourg Your primary responsibility Manage team of financial controllers of PayPal (Europe) et Cie, Sarl (regulated entity operating as European Headquarter of PayPal) Responsible for the external financial publication (e.g. annual report, regulatory reporting) Report monthly to the management and head office. Responsible for the annual financial budget of the Bank and its branch and analysis of monthly variance (Actual vs. Budget); Perform risk assessments, identify improvements required in the control and risk management framework and ensure improvements are made in an effective, sustainable, documented; Maintain and develop robust and efficient accounting and reporting processes and related procedures/policies in compliance with the relevant laws and regulations; Monitor KPIs and KRIs in order to drive the performance of the operations; Ensure the regulatory compliance of the outsourced activities and control and monitor its performance; Collaborate with the Business to ensure compliance is built into products and initiatives; Support effort to design, implement and improve finance reporting tools, processes and solutions.

**Head of Finance for PayPal Europe HQ, based in Luxembourg**

**Your primary responsibility**

**Requirement**
- Qualified accountant (ideally from a Big 4 followed by and with banking experience) with 12+ year professional experience;
- University Degree required (Masters preferred);
- English proficiency; any other EU language is an advantage;
- Experience with banking/payment environment is mandatory
- Knowledge on EU regulatory reporting is an advantage
- Experience of working within highly regulated business environments is an advantage;
- Master Microsoft Office tools, SAP experience would be an advantage;
- Familiar with Financial services regulatory environment;
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to details;
- Excellent ability to analyse risks and recommend controls to mitigate those risks;
- Excellent presentation and project management skills with the ability to successfully work multiple project/initiative at one time;
- Working with shared services is an advantage;
- High level of energy and creativity, an entrepreneurial spirit and the desire to work in a fast growth and changing environment;
