**How will you contribute?**:
You will be mainly in charge of:

- Operational optimisation of a position sensitive detection setup for the purpose of keV Scanning Transmission Ion Microscopy
- Conception and deployment of approaches to integrate Time-of-Flight measurement capabilities into the setup
- Interact with researchers and engineers of the AINA group to realise your own concept ideas in the framework of the internship
- Evaluate and treat the corresponding experimental data for examination of the setup performance and optimisation

**Education**
- Bac+3, bachelor’s degree in physics or related education; ongoing Master Studies

**Experience and skills**
- Some engineering (mechanical or electronics) knowledge as well as vacuum technology related knowledge is an asset
- Skills in data evaluation, interpretation and treatment
- Good teamwork and communication skills, with an open mindset towards interaction, guidance, constructive feedback and growth

**Language skills**
- Strong skills in both written and spoken English
