**Key Responsibilities**
- Support on-site monitoring and testing on designated controls defined within the Compliance Monitoring Plan
- Undertake Client Due Diligence and ongoing reviews in compliance with the anti-money laundering requirements
- Support the identification, mitigation, and management of AML related risks; reporting and escalation of such risks as needed
- Maintenance of Compliance registers such as: incidents reported, regulatory correspondence log, complaints register
- Maintenance of regulatory watch list
- Process regular screening and maintenance of the client database against blacklists, international sanctions, press and escalate when relevant
- Maintenance of internal Compliance tools
- Undertake Compliance projects and ad hoc additional tasks as assigned by the Head of Compliance
- Acting as RC for the Company and provide the RC deliverables under the supervision of the Head of Compliance
- Take action in dealing with non-compliance situations, creating realistic plans to overcome them
- Evaluate business activities (in cooperation with each team) to assess compliance risk
- Collaborate with external auditors, internal auditors, authorities when needed
- Support in drafting trainings and educate employees on regulations and industry practices
- Support the 1st line of defense on any concerns or questions on compliance and AML
- Participate in the local ACER and draft ACER agenda and minutes
- Support the Head of Compliance in drafting annual reports and any other mandatory reports
- Collect and check the KPIs and report any breaches to the limits of the risk appetite statement of the Company
**Key Requirements**
- Master’s degree
- Has at least 5 years of experience in a similar position within an AIFM or UCITS Management Company or any other relevant experience in Luxembourg
- Skilled in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - knowledge of Refinitiv World-Check is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Solution-oriented
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize workloads
- Fluent English and French, both written and oral. Any other language is welcome.
- Team player
- Ability to work independently and proactive “can-do” attitude, seeking out ways to improve quality of service to all stakeholder
