Our client is a commercial foreign exchange provider based in Luxembourg and authorized by the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) as a payment institution. Their foreign currency trading services are designed to enable corporate clients to meet their FX payments needs, whether for goods, services or direct investments. They help their clients mitigate exposure to FX risk and pay suppliers in over 60 different currencies across the world.

The company is part of a larger group, which has offices in the City of London, Madrid and Amsterdam. Since opening in December 2020, the Luxembourg office has been on a rapid expansion drive, already establishing a large client base throughout Europe, and our growth is set to continue.

**Job overview**

As a member of the Sales team, a FX Sales Account Manager is responsible for the management of the sales relationships with existing client accounts as well as prospecting new clients and accounts. The role holder serves as the interface between Clients and the Dealing team and works closely with Compliance and Risk to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

The role holder requires knowledge of all products and the regulatory framework under which we must operate in order to successfully market these products to new and existing clients, putting the clients’ long-term interests first with fair and equitable outcomes for both the role holder and the firm.

**What you will do**

Sales related activities:
Actively involved in all aspects of the 360 sales cycle:

- Prospecting & lead generation (sourcing & pitching);
- Planning sales calls, meetings, post-call follow ups;
- Presentations & documentation;
- Owning/ implementing sales;
- Post sales follow-Up, repeat sales & upselling;
- Developing & maintaining strong client relationships (via Dealing team where appropriate).
- Maintaining current market knowledge (e.g. reading financial press, attending webinars, networking, etc.);
- Maintaining accurate pipeline and forecast;
- Meeting set sales targets/ KPI’s on a weekly/ monthly/ quarterly/ annual basis;
- Keeping accurate records and client interaction notes in the company database FXDB (in line with Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore and relevant Data Protection Law requirements);

Compliance, Risk & Regulatory
- Working effectively and collaboratively with Financial Crime and Regulatory Compliance teams to complete the client onboarding process in line with company and regulatory requirements;
- Ensuring adequate knowledge of their client (KYC) to enable the firm to deliver appropriate and suitable products and services;
- Liaise with Risk and Dealing re. credit facilities;
- Engaging with the client with integrity, ensuring high service standards and in accordance with company policies;
- Understand and adhere to the copmany´s complaints procedure and escalating where necessary;
- Identify and appropriately manage conflicts of interest in accordance with regulatory and company requirements;
- Ensure that the role as first line defense is undertaken with diligence.

**Requirements**:
**What are we looking for**
- Previous sales experience within a Business to Business (B2B) role;
- Experience of working within in a regulated financial services firm is highly desirable;
- Proven track record of operating at a Senior Sales Manager level within a commercial Sales environment (both face to face and telephone sales);
- Ability to clearly articulate full understanding of end to end sales processes;
- Ability to demonstrate strong sales techniques (Persuasive, Negotiation & Closing skills);
- Good knowledge of FX products;
- Excellent all-round communication skills;
- Assertiveness with the ability to influence others in a constructive way;
- Ability to demonstrate credibility in relation to company and product knowledge when dealing with clients and colleagues;
- Strong judgement and problem solving skills;
- Ability to work on own initiative, self-motivation & focus on results.
