Back Office Analyst

The Back Office Analyst role at AB InBev is responsible for executing and coordinating essential Back Office activities, ensuring compliance with Financial Risk Management Policies and Procedures and maintaining proper segregation of duties. As a key contributor to the standardization of Back Office processes at the Global Headquarters level, this role supports efficient and consistent financial operations. Based in Luxembourg, this entry-level position provides an excellent opportunity for growth within AB InBev’s finance function.

The role:
Financial Operations
- Manage daily and large-scale transactions, oversee treasury activities, and ensure compliance in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.

Trade Confirmation
- Confirm trades with external banks and internal affiliates, including forex deals, loans, interest rate derivatives, and commodity derivatives.

Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare and analyze various reports (e.g., EMIR reporting, fee report, bank overdraft report, weekly global cash position, trading data, MTM projections, and debt portfolio).
- Create presentation materials for Senior Management.

Risk and Compliance Management
- Control Treasury Front Office activities to ensure compliance with Financial Risk Management Procedures and maintain segregation of duties.
- Monitor and manage financial risks to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.

Project Involvement and Continuous Improvement
- Participate in Treasury-related projects and assignments.
- Manage the Global Capability Center Team in India, including monthly SLA reviews, procedure updates, and performance evaluations.

Affiliate Management
- Oversee intercompany affiliates’ current accounts and manage financial transactions.

Liquidity Management
- Support liquidity management, including cash forecasting and working capital management.

Internal Controls and Mandates
- Assist in preparing, assessing, and updating internal controls.
- Maintain and update bank and dealing mandates.

Who we’re looking for:

- University degree in Finance and extensive on job experience
- Knowledge of Treasury Management System (IT2)
- Knowledge of Payment systems such as SWIFT (gained within corporate and/or banking sector)
- Specific experience with Treasury Operations
- Computer literacy (Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Word are essential)
- Fluent in English
- Analytical skills
- Assertive, persistent, diligent, discretion assured
- Accuracy
- Ability to organize and plan activities efficiently (respect of deadlines)
- Team player and easy communicator
