Banking Operations Administrator

**Reports to the Banking Operations Manager**
The purpose of this position is to carry out routine day-to-day processes that support the automation and reconciliation of bank transactions with Aztec's accounting systems, under the direction of the Banking Operations Manager.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Monitor the receipt and import of daily transaction files
- Investigate issues with daily transaction files and liaise with external platform provider, banks and Client Facing Teams to resolve
- Check external platform to proactively establish if new accounts should be set up and liaise with Client Facing Teams to confirm details
- Set up new accounts and other static data on external platform, as requested by the Client Facing Teams
- Check details of requests from Client Facing Teams and liaise with them on any issues with their requests for new account set-ups
- Support Client Facing Teams with any requests, queries or issues
- Arrange for completion of MT940 forms or similar documentation required by banks for the set-up of MT940 statements
- Maintain the Banking Operations collaboration site
- Create and update manuals to assist with the day-to-day processes of the Banking Operations Team
- Log any incidents to help prevent such incidents happening in the future
- Assist the Banking Operations Manager to ensure that the Aztec Banking Operations policies and processes are adhered to
- Be a point of contact for external platform provider and banks, keeping up to date with regulations and system changes
- Carry out ad-hoc tasks as required from time to time
- Carry out other tasks that may be required as part of the wider Banking Team
**Skills, knowledge, expertise**:
- Positive and proactive approach
- Previous banking experience an advantage
- Good attention to detail
- Computer literacy skills and interpersonal skills are essential
- Good interpersonal skills are required to develop close working relationships with colleagues and business contacts
