**About the SnT...**
The University of Luxembourg is seeking to hire a highly motivated and an outstanding engineer in the area of Embedded Systems, Real-Time Signal Processing and Space & Satellite Communications for its Interdisciplinary Centre of Security and Trust (SnT), within the Signal Processing and Communications (SigCom) research group, led by Prof. Björn Ottersten and Prof. Symeon Chatzinotas.

**Your Role...**
- Contributing to research and development projects in the fields of:

- AI/ML-accelerated Satellite Communications
- Space-based Edge Computing and Internetworking
- 5G/6G Non-Terrestrial Networks and Satellite-Terrestrial Integration
- Quantum communications
- Implementing control, networking and signal processing algorithms for the 6G-SpaceLab
- Contributing to the dissemination of the research results
- Preparing new research proposals to attract industrial, national and European projects
- Collaborate in ongoing ESA, European, and national projects
- Assisting in the organization of relevant workshops and demos

**Your Profile...**
- At least 5 years of experience in embedded systems design in industry or public funded research projects
- Hands-on implementation and testing of embedded processing systems including Petalinux (and Pynq(on the embedded ARM cores of Xilinx Zynq MPSoC / Versal ACAP
- Knowledge of hardware-software co-design and verification techniques using FPGA. Experience using Vivado SDK / Vitis is a plus
- AI-accelerated signal processing with dedicated hardware (GPU, FPGA and AI chipsets)
- Strong programming skills in C/C++(QT), C#, Other languages such as Python or JULIA are a plus
- Knowledge of Communications and Networking standards (3GPP, DVB) would be a benefit
- Highly committed, excellent team-worker, and strong critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
