Join our dynamic commercial team covering sales, account management, marketing, publishing, and partnerships. Currently, we are actively seeking an English and French speaking Business Development Representative to join our team in a flexible hybrid capacity, working from Luxembourg.
We are looking for an individual with a 'hunter mindset' and a 'go-to-market' attitude, adept at managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to closure. With proven sales experience in the financial sector, ideally in a solution/software/financial data environment, you'll be the driving force behind proactive opportunity development in collaboration with the new business sales team.
This role involves not only understanding the customer value proposition but executing specific programmatic go-to-market strategies. This includes researching and identifying key stakeholders in the target market and engaging directly with them to create and qualify potential opportunities.
You'll closely partner with our marketing and sales teams, tapping into their support to reach your goals. Taking charge of your pipeline and business, you'll use our Salesforce platform, "Fusion," to connect with the right target market.
**Key Responsibilities as a Business Development Representative are**:
- Conduct outbound calls to new prospects and existing clients.
- Schedule online demonstrations and/or face-to-face meetings for our flagship adviser propositions.
- Proactively engage with prospects and customers, understanding their needs through lead generation or referrals.
- Follow up on marketing activities to encourage attendance at product webinars or arrange demos.
- Answer potential customer questions and follow-up queries.
- Proactively call existing clients to schedule meetings in line with campaigns, increasing engagement and market presence.
- Collaborate with the onboarding team to ensure clients optimize our services.
- Raise awareness of all model ranges and the broader FE Fundinfo proposition.
- Develop necessary skills to fulfil the role, understand tools, and systems.
- Learn about our product and service offerings, functionality, market positioning, and competitive advantages.
**As a Business Development Representative, you will need the following experience and skills**:
- You will have an understanding of the funds and investments industry.
- You must have solid sales experience within financial services, accustomed to working against ambitious targets.
- You have a proactive and self-starting approach, identifying opportunities through client conversations.
- You must have experience with CRMs, ideally Salesforce.
- You will be an effective communicator, reinforcing the FE Fundinfo proposition to clients.
- If you have experience selling within the Belgium or Netherlands markets would be an advantage
- Ideally you will have an existing network in the fund management industry, this is a plus
- Having commercial working experience within Luxembourg is advantageous.
- You must be fluent in English and French; additional language proficiency, especially Dutch or German, is preferred.
