The Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine (FSTM) at the University of Luxembourg contributes multidisciplinary expertise in the fields of Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Life Sciences and Medicine.

**Your role**:
A high-performance solar cell is composed of a carefully engineered stack of materials, each with specific properties designed to optimize electron-hole generation and extraction while minimizing recombination both at the interfaces and within the bulk material. The quality of these interfaces plays a critical role for the functionality of the solar cell.
**Your profile**:
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English are essential.
- A robust background in Scanning Probe Techniques is required.
- Experience with ultra-high vacuum systems is highly valued.
- Experience with solar cell synthesis is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of solid-state physics, semiconductors, solar cells, and surface science is expected.
- Experience in Perovskite or Cu(In,Ga)Se2 materials and/or photovoltaics is preferred but not mandatory.
- International experience is an asset.
