Senior Legal Counsel Wealth Management

Founded in 1856, Banque Internationale à Luxembourg is the oldest multi-business bank in the Grand Duchy. **What will you do**:
- Provide legal advice with regard to Wealth Management activities (concerning mainly civil, commercial, corporate and consumer law aspects)
- Advise BIL Group on its duties and responsibilities in respect of these activities, in particular in relation to credit structuring and implementation and MIFID related regulatory aspects
- Draft, review, negotiate any types of agreements in relation with activities (mostly but not exclusively standard and customized credit agreements & security packages and investment services related documentation)
- Contribute to BIL group projects by giving the best legal recommendations
- Actively participate in the legal and regulatory developments within BIL group including the launch of new products in coordination with other departments (compliance, risks, product development, IT )
- Participate in external working groups (ABBL, etc.)
- Coordinate outside counsel
- Provide support to the Head of Legal and team members on various matters
**You have**:
- University degree in law (BAC+5), ideally CCDL
- Qualified lawyer within the European Union
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a (large) financial institution or a law firm in Luxembourg
- Strong knowledge of Luxembourg's banking, legal and regulatory environment
- Excellent organization and coordination skills, combining attention to detail and an efficient overview of key questions and priorities

- Fluency in English and French is mandatory. Any other language is a strong asset

- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated
