**About the Role**:
For our Business Development and Coordination department of APAC-MEA, we are currently looking for an **Area Innovation Manager**.

INNOVATION PLANNING

You will be consolidating the plans for the product innovation, ensuring that all the planned initiatives are properly validated.
Moreover, you will be controlling the overall coherence of the innovation plans vs. the target, possibly challenging Region and Categories and supporting them in the solution of misalignments (re-alignment vs. target or developing business cases). You will be proposing trade-offs between initiatives and the support the Area Strategic plan definition
Additionally, you will be tracking the performance, analyzing the gap, identifying opportunities and threats.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND TRANSFORMATION

You will be identifying, proposing and coordinating new business and cross-functional projects combining external and internal elements and local consumer insights. When assigned to a business case, you will be managing the evaluation of the new opportunity or collaborate in cross-functional teams.
Moreover, you will collaborate in the assessment and evaluation of new “inorganic” opportunities, cooperating with the departments responsible for that at Group level.
You will be coordinating and maintaining alignment with all relevant stakeholders at Group, Area and Region level as well as “related entities” and acquired companies for the innovations and new businesses.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

For the key initiatives in scope, you will be ensuring the appropriate program management.
You will be facilitating cross-functional and cross-projects interaction, working on problem solving and complexity control.
You will organize and manage regular meetings and follow ups with all the key stakeholder involved.
You will be coordinating relationships with Related Parties and activities required for integration/collaboration.

GOVERNANCE
You will be providing regular updates, organizing and preparing Area Board, Area Reviews to CEO/Leadership team meetings for the innovation and the new businesses.

**Who we are looking for**:
**Profile**:

- BSc. or MSc in Business Administration, Management or related;
- Previous experience in CPG Markets (FMCG) or consultancy, preferably Confectionary/Snack Foods Market;
- Experience in operating in senior strategic and/or operational Marketing or Trade Marketing roles;
- 8+ years operational experience in a Strategy, Marketing, Consulting or Trade marketing within FMCG;
- Strong interpersonal skills (e.g. cross functional working, team management and client persuasion);
- Ability to think forward;
- Advanced project management & presentation skills;
- Strong analytical skills.

**Languages**:

- Fluent in English, any other language is a plus.

**IT Skills**:

- Excellent skills in MS Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel).
