Job purpose:_**
Contribute to the first line of defence on managing market risk and ensuring compliance with Bank’s policy, operational procedures and regulatory requirements;
Monitor of exposure of trading/banking book, business mandate and risk limits defined by the Group’s risk appetite and internal procedures;
Analysis and reporting of exposures and limit breaches and alert senior management to any potential operational risk issues or unusual events in Treasury/Trading activities;
Ensure daily, weekly, monthly and, ad hoc reports of MO function to local management and HO;
Contribute to EMIR and MIFiD regulatory reporting and requirements;
Provide support to front office on risk and compliance matters and process improvements;
**_ Responsibilities would be, but not be limited to, the following:_**
- Ensure transactions are processed efficiently and booked according to the business mandate;
- Monitor, analyze and report risk limits and exposures of banking and trading books;
- Proactive risk management and responsibility for adequate procedures and effective controls as well as satisfying audit and regulatory requirements; Act promptly on any control weaknesses identified;
- Report to senior management any potential operational risk issues or unusual events in Treasury/Trading activities;
- Improve databases and quantify statistics that improve risk monitoring, analysis and, reporting;
- Support front office with trade and treasury operations projects as needed;
- Perform EMIR and MIFiD reporting according to legislative requirements and ensure ongoing regulatory compliance;
- Regular and ad hoc reporting and analysis;
- Close interaction with Global Markets Front Office, Back Office and relevant business segments e.g. Risk Management, Audit, Compliance, cross-border branches, HO;
**Qualifications**

Profile (Technical Skills):_**
- Familiar with Treasury and Trading activities;
- Understand of treasury controls and general knowledge of banking and treasury processes;
- Familiar with Financial products, including derivatives.
- Good MS office skills; Excel (essential);
**_ Profile (Soft Skills):_**
- Proactive and a good sense of team spirit,
- Drive for results, timely decision-making & efficiency;
- Ability to develop good working relationships with internal functions and external stakeholders;
**_ Education:_**
- University degree in Finance is desired,
**_ Experience:_**
- 3+ years’ experience in banking industry
**_ Language skills:_**
- Fluent in English, Chinese and French is a plus.
