**Your role - Are you ready for a challenge
**Mission
The Private Markets Monitoring Analyst is responsible for performing adequate assessment of the valuation, the capital transactions and the risks linked to Private Equity and Real Estate funds or any other alternative assets with limited liquidity and transferability, in order to mitigate financial, operational, legal and reputational risks.
**Accountability
The Private Markets Monitoring Analyst is accountable for:
- Review and analysis of standard private equity transaction documentation;
- Assessment and plausibility controls of the valuation of existing private investments as well as all relevant risk factors related to that type of investment within an insurance policy;
- Close supervision and coordination of any re-structuring and corporate action on existing positions in private assets;
- Proper documentation and filing of collected and analysed documentation;
- Periodic reporting of the Private Markets book to Senior Management, incl. assessment of large variations in Private Assets valuations, the Private Markets activity report and Private Assets price aging analysis;
**Your profile - Have you got what it takes to become our Private Markets Monitoring Analyst - Nordic markets?
**Required
- Master (Bac +4) in finance, corporate law or business administration;
- 1-5 years’ experience in Private Equity or Real Estate fund administration through a Management Company, a bank’s Private Equity desk or an audit firm;
- Strong capabilities in analysing financial reports, valuation of Private Assets, M&A and corporate finance agreements;
- Hands on attitude, we expect you to take full ownership of the cases you will be dealing with;
- Data management skills and good knowledge of Excel for establishing private investments reporting. Knowledge of Python language would be considered as an asset;
- Service-oriented and solution finder attitude;
- Sensitivity to risks in order to perform adequate assessments of the risks for an insurance company being the owner of the Private Markets;
- Strong team player and strong communication skills, eager to learn;
- Proficiency in English. Fluency in one of the Nordic language (Swedish/Finnish/Norwegian/Danish) is a strong advantage, any other European language would be considered as an asset.
**Additional Assets**
- Post-graduate degree as CAIA or CFA
- Knowledge of the Luxembourg fund industry regulatory requirements
