**EIF Posting**:
**The European Investment Fund **(EIF) **is seeking to recruit for its** General Secretariat Department (GS) - Marketing Division (MRKTG)**,** **at its headquarters in **Luxembourg**,** **several **(Senior) Digital / Social Media Officer(s)**. These are full-time positions (with different travel requirements according to the role) at grade 4/5 for which the EIF offers a permanent contract.

This is a generic campaign in the view of both current and possible future vacancies.

Panel interviews via video-conference are anticipated for June 2023.

Purpose:_**

The Marketing Division ensures the EIF’s activities are known and valued by stakeholders and the general public. This role is responsible for increasing the EIF’s overall visibility and online presence through the development and implementation of effective digital or social media strategies primarily for the EIF’s different policy areas: Innovation, Competitiveness & Growth, Human Capital & Skills, Climate Action & Environmental Sustainability.

The duties of the (Senior) Digital / Social Media Officer(s) centre on delivering creative, engaging and impactful digital solutions or social media campaigns that effectively drive measurable digital outreach or follower growth. We are looking for profiles with proven experience in sourcing, producing and publishing a wide range of content suited to different audience types.

Operating Network:_**

You will report to the Head of Marketing and take direction from senior members of the Digital and Social Media Competence Centre. The Digital and Social Media Team collaborates closely with other teams within the Marketing Division, namely: Campaigns & Events, Editorial and Graphic Design.

Responsibilities:_**

At a level commensurate with your experience and seniority, you will contribute to the EIF’s marketing and communication efforts in the following areas:

- **Planning and coordination **of online campaigns based on thematic approaches, events, news, partnerships and expert contributions;
- **Research and benchmarking** related to digital and social media opportunities based on industry standards, competitor analysis, best practices and latest trends;
- **Sourcing and content production** from ideation to production, including directing external agencies;
- **Publishing and implementation** of digital and social media contents according to a tailored calendar across all channels and digital platforms;
- **Listening and engagement** on an ongoing or ad-hoc basis, incl. comment-, community
- and crisis management;
- **Monitoring and reporting** on an ongoing or ad-hoc basis in line with the KPI framework;
- **Conducting relevant administration** of budget, audit, procurement services, records.

Qualifications:_**
- University Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in (Digital) Marketing, Communications or relevant field;
- At least three (3) years of post-graduation (after having obtained your initial university diploma) relevant professional experience at the same level of responsibility as a Digital / Social Media Officer or in a similar role, eventually in financial services, international organisation, or at digital/creative agencies;
- Outstanding English communication skills, written and verbal. Knowledge of other European languages is an advantage;
- Experience in directing service providers for visual and content production or digital asset development;
- Good knowledge of standard IT tools;
- Understanding of the EIF and EU policy, as well as SME financing needs and solutions is an advantage;
- For the (Senior) Digital Officer role: proven experience in effective digital marketing tools and strategies, including:

- SEO, SEM/SEA keywords and content marketing, paid advertising;
- Scoping and developing digital solutions, directing external technical development;
- Defining KPIs and creating effective reporting frameworks;
- Using content management tools (CMS, basic HTML/CSS, Google Ads, Wikipedia);
- Understanding (digital) best practices incl. GDPR, EUDRP.
- For the (Senior) Social Media Officer role: proven experience in effective social media marketing tools and strategies, including:

- Managing content calendars and regular posting (may occasionally include working non-standard hours);
- Sourcing content ideas internally and via participation at live events / on-site reporting / mobile journalism and proposing content (keywords, storylines, visuals);
- Creating content to suit different platforms, both visual (Adobe CS, Canva or similar) and written (short and long-form content);
- Crisis monitoring and implementation of the response plan;
- Using social media management tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Tweetdeck, Emplifi, Talkwalker, Buffer, and others);
- Being an active user of social media outside work is an advantage.
