Currently, we are seeking an experienced fund accountant or auditor to join our expanding Fund Services team in our Luxembourg office.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- You will be fully responsible for a client account, serving as the main point of contact for all account-related matters.
- Act as a crucial link between management and junior staff, overseeing and ensuring the quality of work conducted for the account.
- Review the work produced before submission to senior staff.
- Opportunity for skill enhancement and learning through training sessions as a Senior Officer.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Participating in setting up alternative investment funds and collaborating with tax specialists, lawyers, and notaries.
- Managing day-to-day fund operations and communicating with third parties, including investors and fund managers.
- Handling fund accounts, preparing periodic and regulatory reports, and coordinating audits.
- Assisting with Net Asset Value calculations, financial statements, investor servicing, and more.
- Organizing and attending board meetings and shareholder gatherings.
- Reviewing tax returns and maintaining relations with tax authorities.
YOUR PROFILE:
- Hold a university degree, preferably in Accounting & Finance, Economics, or ACCA qualification.
- Bring 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in alternative investment fund administration, audit firms, or domiciliation.
- Fluency in English is required, with knowledge of French or German considered an advantage.
- Demonstrate team spirit, strong client relationship-building skills, and the initiative to act independently.
