TASK RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintaining and monitoring application servers in the cloud.
  • Responsible of 2nd and 3rd level support for various IT services and follow the guidelines defined by the technology and Cybersecurity department.
  • This will include the day to day operations but also the patching and the vulnerability management.
  • Deploy and configure LCH applications and systems. Including but not limited to:
  • Test, support and release documentation
  • Application updates and suppervision
  • Deployment of the applications
  • Proper communication
  • Involved into LCH projects for the preparation of environments from project phase to go live / post go live support.
  • Investigation in LCH service requests needing more expertise.
  • Monitor and maintain environment (centralized management between LCH and CV).
  • Day to day operations in Microsoft365 admin environment (centralized management between LCH and CV)
  • Ensure 24/7 support of business-critical system by integrating the on call escalation team (on a rotation scheme). This will include not only the LCH operations oncall but also CV oncall.
  • Maintaining and monitoring application servers in the cloud.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Deep knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 operating system and Microsoft 365 products (in the process of application support / technical escalation expert for the service desk)
  • Good knowledge of Windows Server and scripting is required
  • Knowledge of Linux OS and Citrix is a nice to have
  • Knowledge of Azure with Microsoft Azure Fundamentals Certification (AZ 900) is considered as an asset
  • Deployment of applications is an asset
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the engineering teams to drive architectural changes to improve stability of environments
  • Motivated, agile, good team spirit, strong communications skills and good contact with people
  • Familiar with ITIL processes
  • Fluency in English is mandatory (spoken & written); additional languages are an added value

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Permanent full-time position based in Luxembourg.
  • The candidate will work in a Agile, friendly innovative but operational Azure only environment in a young and dynamic team.
  • Normal office hours are to be expected, with occasional work outside these hours to perform tasks (planned or unplanned) on the environment.
  • The position holder might have to be on stand-by outside the normal office hours and weekends in case of incidents.
  • It is expected that during critical incidents the candidate can commit to resolve the incident to the end if required.
  • Valid car drivers license required.
  • A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection.
