Your Role...

  • 3GPP precoding and resource allocation in Multibeam satellite systems
  • Test bed implementation for 3GPP New Radio precoding in Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN)
The position holder will be required to perform the following tasks:

  • Study the 3GPP New Radio precoding specification for NTN
  • Perform simulation of precoding and frequency management in SATCOMs systems
  • Implementation and testing of predefined algorithms on SDR environments
  • Contribute to the National FNR Bridge project "Pre5

GNR:
Design and Implement Multiuser 3GPP 5G New Radio Precoding and Dynamic Beam Management for NGSO Systems"

  • Assisting in organization of relevant workshops and demos

Your Profile...

  • Good knowledge on 3GPP New Radio PHY specifications
  • Testbed design and implementation on Software Defined Radio, OpenAirInterface platforms
  • Wireless and/or Satellite communications
  • Programming skills in at least one of the following: MATLAB, GNURadio/C/C++

Language Skills:
Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
