As an international central securities depository (ICSD) headquartered in Luxembourg, Clearstream Banking S.A. operates the post-trading business - i.e. issuance, settlement and custody - for the Eurobond market and services for securities from over 55 domestic markets worldwide.
Your area of work:
As an Intern - Clearstream Risk Management you will have the excellent opportunity to explore capital marketdynamics and to gain valuable practical experience in an innovative company.
The main purpose of the Risk Managementarea is to monitor the overall risk profile so that developments that could jeopardize the interests of Clearstreamcan be identified and suitable countermeasures can be deployed.
You will be actively taking part in our process,while we are offering you diverse, interesting and above all challenging tasks.
Your responsibilities:
- Generate analyses and documents for the decision making process in regards to latest risk managementissues
- Supporting the identification of operational risks and business risks together with business units
- Participation in ongoing projects of the area, especially in the yearly review of operational risk scenarios
- Support in the course of common risk management operations
- Administrative and organisational tasks
Your profile:
- You are enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's Degree programme (e.g. Business, Finance, Economics) with arecognized institution and can provide an internship agreement, OR have graduated with a Bachelor'sdegree or similar for no more than 6 months
- Profound knowledge in statistics with an interest in banks and stock markets
- Team player and excellent communication skills, such as commitment, ability to work independently,motivation and accuracy
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (in particular MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint)
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
Start date: 01 June 2023
Duration: 6 months full-time
