Join our client, an International Law Firm, as an HR Manager and embark on a rewarding journey in an international setting. As a pivotal member of their organization, you'll play a vital role in talent acquisition, retention, and development within their dynamic environment. Working alongside an HR Assistant, you'll streamline administrative tasks while focusing on strategic HR initiatives. Your role:
- Lead talent acquisition, retention, and development efforts;
- Provide coaching, training, and conduct appraisals for staff members;
- Recommend salary increases and bonus awards based on performance evaluations;
- Coordinate with other business services across the office to streamline operations;
- Develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures under executive guidance;
- Offer quality support resources to all office members, including fee and non-fee earners;
- Manage non-legal activities within the office and support the Office Managing Partner (OMP;)
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, payroll instructions, and absence management;
- Handle rare office moves, crisis management, and business continuity planning;
- Supervise business services staff and office-related activities;
- Conduct risk assessments and liaise with external suppliers;
- Manage furniture procurement and serve as the primary contact for the landlord.
Your profile:
- Demonstrated track record of 5 to 7 years in a comparable role, preferably within a law firm, service provider, or Big 4 environment (although not limited to these sectors);
- Thorough understanding of local social legislation;
- Self-sufficient, proactive, solution-oriented, well-organized, with outstanding presentation skills and the ability to engage with high-level individuals;
- Proficiency in both English and French is indispensable for this position;
- A strong ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment;
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the capacity to build rapport with diverse stakeholders;
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all HR-related matters.
