Job Description:
Your Responsibilities will include:
- Provide thought partnership to business partners and senior level executives on a broad range of businesscritical topics
- Lead analytical workstreams identify and deconstruct business issues, and develop strategic, analytical, and financial frameworks to conduct analyses and solve critical business issues
- Develop external perspective through relevant and actionable benchmarks
- Collaborate with professionals across PayPal to deliver crossfunctional project support and track & manage various FP&A, tax, accounting, and treasury initiatives
- Manage reporting and resolution of issues, risks, and dependencies, proactively identifying potential planning gaps, suggesting mitigations to risks, actions to close issues or complete open items
- Lead planning and managing the initial phases of system onboarding projects including setting timelines, drafting project plans, gathering system requirements, setting project scope, and managing key stakeholders.
- Find and implement opportunities to improve processes or use technology to automate activities
- Manage the budget of various finance transformation initiatives
- Provide a key communication channel between various finance and business teams
What do you need to bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA is a bonus
- 8+ years of experience working in Finance and/or Accounting function
- Experience in analyzing Financial Transformation projects in a highgrowth technology company needed
- Proven problem solving and analytical thinking and ability to approach problems logically and systematically.
- Strong understanding of Finance and Accounting concepts
- Proven analytical and problemsolving skills with an ability to make complex business concepts easily digestible
- Comfort expressing a point of view and taking risks
