Smart Sheet Piles is one of the focused solution in the upcoming years which will foster the market position of sheet piling and contribute to the sustainable growth of sheet pile solutions in the foundation market in Europe with greater 100kt in apparent demand.
The position addressed is the project leader for Smart Sheet Pile solution - a prompt hiring is of major interest to assure a continuity in the development process and to be able to cater the market demand in short to medium time frame.
Business Development Manager (Marketing Specialist) is dedicated to support and extend ArcelorMittal Sheet Piling's worldwide leadership in Steel Sheet Piling (SSP) solutions with the following objectives:- Development of solutions as turning engineering foundations problems into commercial opportunities for our sheet piles ( and foundation piles )
- Covering ( not exclusive ) : material degradation by corrosion attack / wall deformations / strain monitoring / load capacity evaluation
- Develop sheet pile specific solutions for realtime data collection & transfer / Cloud, and assist in AI developments for appropriate data assessments
- Close interaction with R&D as related to cooperation's with external partners in sensoring and IT
- Elaborate factbased, scientific validated arguments for our customers, define value creation opportunities using "smart" features on our products
- Support R&D in looking for IP opportunities as package solution
- Develop, support adequate testing's
- Evaluate market introduction of "smart" sheet pile package solutions ( commercial )
- Develop stateoftheart technical documentation and support our Marketing-Communications efforts with e.g. technical articles, presentations, F.A.Q.s, adverts, website and social media content.
Applicant attributes:
- Experienced civil/electromechanical engineer with strong marketing vision and skills
- Diploma : MSc/Diploma Civil Engineering or MSc/Diploma Electromechanical Engineering
- Language proficiency: (1) English; (2) German; (3) French. Any other language is an advantage.
- Selfdriven, entrepreneurial, resultoriented, open minded and dynamic.
- Good communication and presentation skills, paired with excellent team spirit ( direct internal and external face ).
- Working experience in a project oriented, dynamic and multicultural environment.
Additional assets:
- Good knowledge in IT and basics in AI; Skills in computing, electronics, sensor technology is a strong plus.
- Good knowledge in design of infrastructures / civil engineering / soil mechanics.
