Your Role
- Contribute to support the management of the Competence Center in Data Sciences and Simulations, by covering both scientific and administrative tasks (50% of your time);
- Contribute to co
- Participate in the everyday management of the research projects involved, including public outreach activities like policy briefs, social media communication etc.;
- Writing research proposal(s) for external funding;
- Involvement in the management of departmentrelated activities (workshops, lecture series or recruitment, for instance).
Your profile
- PhD in economics;
- Experience in econometrics, machine learning, GIS.
- Excellent communication and writing skills, for both scientific and more policyoriented articles are required;
- Enthusiasm to work in an international and interdisciplinary team;
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.

The institute is located on the new Belval campus in the south of Luxembourg (Cité des Sciences, Luxembourg), which hosts the University of Luxembourg and a substantial part of the country's publicly funded research facilities, i.e.
