Lead Teacher role (2-year post)
An exciting opportunity to develop leadership skills in an out of class Lead Teacher role
Permanent role, Full-Time
Required for September 2024
Job Purpose
- To work alongside the Achievement and Progress Leader to support the needs of the Milepost
- To model best practice within & across a milepost
- To lead the planning and delivery of highquality teaching
- To be responsible for the daytoday work and management of classes and the safety and welfare of the pupils, during onsite and offsite activities
- To promote the aims and objectives of the school and maintain its philosophy.
You will have

Teaching Qualification - essential:
- A proven record of good/outstanding teaching
- Experience of teaching the English National Curriculum for England and Wales
- Experience of modelling best practice
- An internationally minded outlook
- A creative approach to teaching
- Evidence of high student progress and attainment
- Proactive and willing to take part in extracurricular activities and events
- A strong team player
- Evidence of supporting colleagues or leading a team
- Experience of modelling best practice
