Faculty of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences (FHSE) brings together expertise from the humanities, linguistics, cognitive sciences, social and educational sciences.

The FHSE offers six Bachelor and twenty Master degrees and a doctoral school providing students with the necessary knowledge and high-qualified skills to succeed in their future career.
Your Role
:
- Engage in research targeted at receiving a PhD in Educational Sciences (cumulative; i.e. based on peerreviewed publications),
- Conduct an indepth literature review to support the research plan,
- Coordinate the organization of datasets, including video data collection and management, and multilevel data analysis,
- Communicate and collaborate with a research team, including teachers and student assistants,
- Engage in international opportunities for learning and development (i.e., doctoral summer school possibilities),
- Take responsibility for administrative tasks within the study, including coordinating the SciTeach Center Multiplikatoren initiative,
- Author, and coauthor, international publications (in Englishspeaking peer reviewed journals and at scientific conferences).
What we expect from you:
- Masters degree in educational sciences or a related field,
- Strong knowledge of, and interest, in qualitative research methods and / or educational research,
- Willingness to travel internationally for conferences and training opportunities,
- Fluency in English required, additional proficiency in German is also required, and Luxembourgish will be considered an asset
- Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively,
- Possession of communication and administrative skills,
- Experience working as part of a multiprofessional team and / or with primary school teachers will be considered an asset.
