Technician Calibration

TASK RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Calibrate tools in different field (force, pressure, electrical, temperature, dimensional...)
  • Perform adjustments or repairs if necessary
  • Record and archive all calibration data
  • Develop procedures and tools to accomplish and facilitate calibration of tools and equipment
  • Initiate ordering of supplies
  • Provide verbal/ written hand over to team members and superiors

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:

  • Secondary technical education (CATP, DAP or equivalent) or an apprenticeship in a relevant field
  • At least 2 years of experience in calibration within a laboratory
  • Knowledge regarding calibration standard (ISO and calibration methods
  • Experience with calibration software, Fluke Metcal is an advantage
  • Have good communication skills and able to work with a team
  • Ability to work alone and to show good initiative
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, any other language would be an advantage
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook)

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • The postion is based in Luxembourg.
  • The position holder will perform calibration within a calibration laboraties and also on site to customers (internal and external)
  • A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection
