    Accounting Assistant Manager**Our client is a global private equity investor with a substantial presence in Luxembourg (nonregulated entity) and is looking for an experienced Accounting Assistant Manager who will actively support the team in its daily work.
In this role, you will work very closely with all departments. The company offers an entrepreneurial and flexible working environment and provides a broad range of challenging projects and events.

Your responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping of cash movement, interests' computation, accruals, assets value adjustments, etc
  • Followup of the Management Equity Plan (capital tables, warehousing, restructuring coordination, etc.) (if applicable)
  • Coordinate the provision of professional services advisors, including accounting, tax, and auditing services.
  • Coordinate the preparation of direct tax and VAT (if applicable)
  • Coordinate the provision of legal compliance services (such as registrations, publications, etc.)
  • Coordinate the provision of bank services.
  • Coordinate with the teams to facilitate the delivery of transactions in Luxembourg.
  • Prepare annual accounts/ statutory accounts and consolidated (if applicable)
  • Prepare any reporting for the underlying investments.
  • Handle the audit process.
  • Handle the consolidation process.
  • Prepare data and documentation for BCL reporting.
  • Manage corporate bank accounts.
  • Prepare cash flow statement.
  • Ensure correct settlement (cash reconciliation and recording of bank statements)
  • Do the calculation and reconciliation of fees and budget preparation.
  • In charge of the invoices (check & reconciliation, record and responsible for payment of all invoices) and reinvoicing.
  • Organise payment of any distributions by the Luxembourg company.
  • Responsible for the callback procedure.
  • Set up the entity with the assistance of our legal advisor.
  • Create and maintain working papers up to date for transactions structured via Luxembourg.
  • Bank account opening / Coordination and access.
  • Archive on the shared drive and in paper files the documentation related to accounting and finance.
  • In charge of liquidation of entities and followup

Your profile:

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in Luxembourg.
  • Good knowledge of the related regulatory environment and its requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to build effective relationships across the business.
  • Good listening skills.
  • Team player with a positive attitude, able to foster knowledge sharing.
  • Highly organized, with good personal time management.
  • Able to deliver highquality work, on time, each time.
  • Fluency in English and French, both written and spoken is mandatory.
